Inspiration

Recently, a group of us from the Class of "73" became aware of one of our own who fell and broke both her legs. During our senior year class play, The King and I, she entertained and brought smiles to all. This has created a hardship for her as well as a very long and painful rehabilitation process. Thanks to many committed friends and her faith in God, she is on the difficult road to recovery.

Because of this, we felt inspired to start a fund to help our classmates in need, the Shall We Dance Fund.

Mission

Our Mission is to provide critical interim support to those grappling with personal tragedies in an effort to help alleviate a portion of the associated financial impact.

Overview

The "Shall We Dance Fund" was established in 2012 to be of assistance to those in our STA Class of 1973 who are in trouble and need a little extra help to move forward in life. The contributions supporting the fund come from the Class of 1973 Alumni, their family members, or individuals who want to help.

In selecting recipients, we concentrate on the Class of 1973 alumni in need. We believe in supporting our classmates who are dealing with financial hardship regarding a personal, medical, or mental health situation.

This year's donations will allow the Shall We Dance Fund to be established and will provide much needed supports to those in our STA community who are in need of assistance.
